How To Use a Cock Ring

By Tatyana Dyachenko

A cock ring is used by men to maintain and prolong their erections and lengthen the time it takes before ejaculation. The modern ones have vibrators built in to help the ladies as well, as the cock ring will rub against their clits during sexual intercourse.

Pearls of Pleasure Ring

Here are some pointers on using a cock ring.

First things first.

Those using cock rings for the first time would do well to choose a model which comes with a quick release mechanism. In this way, should you feel any discomfort while wearing it, you can easily take it off. There are cock rings which fasten with Velcro or with snaps and can easily be removed with one yank at the strap.

One of the primary things one has to learn in how to use cock ring is how to put it on. This is not so tricky when one is using a cock ring with clasps. One just fastens the clasp in a comfortable setting at the base of the penis when it is semi-erect.

For those using stretchable cock rings it is wise to apply lubrication on the penis when sliding the cock ring into position. Moreover, it would be wise to keep one’s hands dry in order to keep the cock ring from slipping and hitting the penis like a rubber band. One’s pubic hair can get in the way too and can cause discomfort to the wearer when little bits of hair get caught in the ring as one is putting it on or taking it off. Trim a little of the hair in your pelvic area in order to avoid this if this becomes a problem.

It is easiest to put it on when you are not fully erect as well.

Remember not to keep the cock ring on for too long. The purpose of cock ring is to restrict the flow of blood from the erectile tissue of the penis back to the body. If kept on for too long (more than twenty minutes) it may cause a medical emergency called priapism which in turn can result to penile gangrene. Keep in mind that if you feel a coldness or a numbness in the penis, it is a sure sign that the cock ring should be taken off.

To remove your penis ring, once your penis is semi erect, the ring should be loose enough to slide off the penis and scrotum.
