Will The Cock Ring Fit?

By Ekaterina Mironova

With the help of a cock ring, you can sustain a harder and longer-lasting erection. This is due to the blood flow back down the penis being restricted. This can not only help you to achieve a more satisfying erection but can also benefit your partner as well. With this in mind, how do you know which size cock ring to select?

The measurement of the cock ring is calculated by measuring the internal diameter (or width) in-between the widest part of the cock ring hole. You should aim for a cock ring that is a little smaller than your measurement when fully erect. However, if the diameter of the cock ring is too small then it can cause too much restriction and lead to pain, numbness or even erectile difficulties in the future.

To find out the best cock ring match, you need to measure around the base of your penis when fully erect. This will give you the circumference of your penis. This needs to be divided by 3.14 to generate your diameter.

Follow These Cock Ring Measurement Examples:

For a penis circumference of 4.5 inches, you should go for a cock ring with a width of less than 1.43 inches.

For a penis circumference of 5 inches, you should opt for a cock ring with a diameter smaller than 1.59 inches.

For a penis circumference of 5.5 inches, you should select a cock ring with a width of less than 1.75 inches.

For a penis circumference of 6 inches, you should go for a cock ring with a diameter that's smaller than 1.91 inches.

To generate the measurements for a linked cock and ball ring, you will also have to calculate the measurement around your penis and your testicles. (You will already have the measurements for the cock ring from earlier). Again, this should be done whilst you are fully erect with the circumference measurement taken from close to your body. This measurement should also be divided by 3.14 to give you your diameter.

Follow These Cock and Ball Ring Measurements as a Guide:

For a penis and testicle circumference of 6.5 inches, you need the ring that goes around the penis and testes to have a diameter less than 2.07 inches.

For a testicle and penis circumference of 7 inches, you should opt for a penis and testicle ring that has a width less than 2.23 inches.

For a penis and testicle circumference of 7.5 inches, you should select a testicle and penis ring that has a diameter of less than 2.39 inches.

Rigid Cock Rings Compared To Stretchy Cock Rings

Rigid cock rings (for example, those that are made from either metal or rubber) should be approximately 0.25 – 0.5 inches less than the diameter of your erect penis as this should give you just the right amount of restriction without being too tight. Stretchy cock rings are a better starting point for beginners as they have much more give than rigid metal counterparts which will not come off as easily as stretchy cock rings which can always be cut off if any difficulty is experienced. Some stretchy cock rings also come with an adjustable slide control enabling the tightness to be changed if required.
