My name is Livija Samušienė, a 25-year-old beautician and Head of PR and Communications at Peaches and Screams. My fascination with the holistic aspects of beauty and health began in 2018, and in 2021, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a specialisation in cosmetology from Šiauliai State University in Lithuania.
Since then, I have worked as a dedicated cosmetologist at a beauty and aesthetics academy, where I focus on providing body and facial treatments, with a particular emphasis on addressing skin concerns such as acne. I am an active member of the Association of Cosmetologists, continuously refining my skills by attending seminars and courses on skin health and diseases.
During my career, I have had the privilege of completing internships at pharmacies and at Šiauliai Republican Hospital, gaining invaluable nursing experience. My approach to beauty is comprehensive, as I collaborate not only with dermatologists but also with gynaecologists and podologists to offer clients the most well-rounded, professional care possible.
In 2023, I took on the new role of motherhood and am currently on maternity leave with my son, Herkus. While I am not performing treatments at the moment, I continue to immerse myself in the latest research, scientific articles, and literature on health and beauty, ensuring that I remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
