Marilyn Monroe and JFK Sex Tape
When you think 'sex tape' - you can' help but imagine Paris Hilton, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian. While Marilyn Monroe might be the sexiest woman of the century and certainly more sophisticated than your average sex tape diva, she's hardly the name on the top of your list. Until now.
Now, we know that Marilyn and JFK had some seriously steamy moans-and-groans meetings, and that there is written evidence to support it along with a few witnesses. But why is this only coming to light now? Marilyn Monroe died in 1962 and JFK in 1963. Why is their sex tape only being announced now?
The existence of the sex tape, transcription, and other juicy secrets have finally been revealed to the Hollywood Reporter as an excerpt from the private files of Fred Otash: notorious private eye and celebrity watcher.
Otash had a reputation for being brutal and unkind. He started off his career in the Marines, soon left to join LAPD, and eventually set up his own private eye investigation service where he worked as a fact-finder and fact-verifier. He was hired by the who's-who of the bright lights, and worked on big stories like Confidential's outing of Liberace.
Otash wasn' well-liked by others in the industry. John Buntin called him unreliable and unruly, James Ellroy insisted that he was a con artist and a bullshitter. He made personal gains from exposing celebrity shames, and he was proud of it.
"I'll work for anybody but communists,' Otash said. 'I'll do anything short of murder."
Otash Died in 1992, but his files and deepest, darkest secrets were holed up in a storage locker until very recently. Now, his daughter Colleen and her business partner Manfred Westphal are determined to share the information with the world to clear Otash's reputation and name.
While Marilyn Monroe had certainly paid for his services to bug her phone and monitor her house, as recorded in his notes, Otash had accidentally recorded her sexual relationship with JFK while spying on JFK for Howard Hughes. "When the original Lawford house was wired, Monroe was not part of the plan," Otash says in the files. "It was to find out what the Democrats were up to on behalf of Howard Hughes and Nixon. Monroe became a by-product."
Otash also notes that he had listened to Marilyn Monroe die while monitoring her home. He recorded a heated argument between Monroe, Peter Lawford and Bobby Kennedy and claims to have heard Bobby Kennedy smother her with a pillow to quieten her down.
Could this be the demise of Marilyn Monroe? We won' know - the tapes have gone missing and we're only left with the files. Although, the Hollywood Reporter notes, more evidence and information may surface in the coming months.
