Serve Something Sexy: Cinnamon Banana Whip
My husband and I have both been working long hours lately, and I’m hatching a plan for seducing him with something sexy and delicious. Consider it food foreplay.
Men are easy: they love dessert. For that matter, so do I! But I don’t want to add the zillion calories from something heavy that takes forever to concoct and feels like a stone in my stomach just when I want to feel aroused and ready for play.
So, I’m sharing a recipe that’s topped with a spice with a long history as a delicious and stimulating aphrodisiac: cinnamon.
Cinnamon is already a healthy spice: one teaspoon contains only 12 calories, but it has as many antioxidants as half a cup of blueberries. It’s also being tested as a treatment for Type 2 diabetes, and is used to soothe arthritis (take a half teaspoon of cinnamon mixed with honey every morning, they say), lower cholesterol, and improve memory function.
But I’m more interested in the heat it might generate between my body and his, and just the warm, spicy scent is enough to start warming me up.
The recipe is easy and obvious: sliced bananas with whipped cream and cinnamon, but here are the secrets that go with the dessert:
Secret number one: Scent the house
Put a small pan of water on to simmer. Sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon in the water, along with a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I promise you, his head will come up when he walks in the kitchen, and that’s only where the action begins. Be sure to turn off the stove once you’re both there so you can be free to pursue other interests as they…arise.
Secret number two: Make him watch
Cinnamon-sprinkled dessert is good, but smoking hot sex is great. Think of this dessert as foreplay. When he smells something good and comes in the kitchen, sit him down to watch while you make the treat. You’ll enjoy watching him realize that you are the treat.
Secret number three: Whipped cream is a toy
So leave it out on the counter while you prepare your sexy dessert. Accidentally dab it by your ear. Or his. But beware, you may never get to the food.
Secret number four: Bananas are sexy
Peel it like you mean it. Slow is good. Feel it, taste it and enjoy it like the treat it stands for. Bonus points if you can get some sliced into a bowl.
Secret number five: Put the “sin” into your cinnamon
It’s doubtful that you will manage to get the dessert made, eaten, and cleaned up before the aphrodisiac effect kicks in. If this is the case, you win!
