VAGINAL ANATOMY 101: THE POWER OF YOUR AWESOME BODY!

What about the vaginal/female anatomy? What do you know about your awesome body? This article takes you through everything you need to know from the vulva, mons pubis, labia, clitoris, perineum, vaginal entrance and hymen, cervix, vagina, and urethra, to the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries to G-spot.

The vagina is one of the powerful and capable organs in the female body. However, there is much misinformation and myths about the vagina, but some women and their partners do not know much about it. This can be one of the many frustrations for women. Learning about the vagina and its features is essential, especially regarding sexual matters. The vagina is a tube extending gradually from the cervix to the vulva. However, the size and shape of the vagina vary from one woman to another. There is much you need to learn or know about the vagina. This article helps you understand your body more. Herein is everything you need to know about vaginal anatomy.

Vaginal Anatomy

Vaginal anatomy is essential since it highlights everything you need to know about the vagina and its features. Here are the outlined partners of the vagina and their respective functions.

Vulva

The vulva is the external part of the vagina. It includes the clitoris, labia minora, and labia majora. Whenever you call pussy or vagina, you refer to the vulva. The vulva can be darker, redder, hairy, plush, and fatty. Your vulva plays an essential role when it comes to sexual pleasures. It differs in size and shape depending on the size of the clitoris and labia.

Mons Pubis

Mons pubis is the part above the clitoris and below the stomach. The pubis bone can be felt through the mons. This part can also trigger you sexually when stimulated during any sexual activity. However, not all women can be triggered sexually when the pubis bone is stimulated.

Labia

Reitsma et al. (2011) noted that the labia have two main parts, the minora (inner lips) and the Majora (outer lips). The labia come in various sizes and shapes, from thinner to plump. Some are longer, while others are shorter. Some labia are asymmetrical and barely match the diagram of the vagina. However, this should not worry you; it is normal. Also, not every woman has both labia noticeable lips. It might also be challenging to decern between the inner and the outer lips.

Clitoris and Clitoral Hood

Clitoris is one of the most sensitive parts with numerous nerve endings. It is an essential body part around the vagina that delivers pleasurable sensations. The clitoris mainly serves personal pleasures. Morales et al. (2018) stated that the clitoris erects when stimulated manually or with sex toys. The clitoris is covered with the clitoral hood, similar to the foreskin in the penis. It is also connected to the G-spot from the inside; you are likely to have G-spot orgasms

Perineum

The perineum is commonly known in males, but it is also present in women. This is one of the areas between the vagina and the anus. It is an extremely thin, sensitive line that can be stimulated for sensational pleasures. This is one of the most sensitive spots in men since it is connected to the prostate. The prostate can be stimulated through the perineum or anus for extreme pleasure and orgasms. You can stimulate the spot manually with your fingers or with a vibrator for satisfying pleasures.

Vaginal Entrance and Hymen

The vaginal entrance is also referred to as the vaginal orifice. It is not specifically a separate organ in the body from the clitoris or labia. The hymen is the thin layer of fleshy tissues covering the vaginal opening. The hymen is not present in every woman, which is also good.

Urethra

The urethra is a tube allowing the smooth passage of urine. It is technically small, which makes it invisible. The urethra is located above the opening of the vagina, unlike in men.

Vagina

The vagina is the most impressive organ of the female reproductive system. The vagina is also known as the birth canal. It also allows the passage of blood during the menstrual period. Women often experience intense and satisfying pleasures during penetrative sex. Surprisingly, the vagina remains closed not until it is filled with any object, including a penis, sex toy, fingers, or tampon. The vaginas are the same.

Cervix

The cervix can stretch in size. The cervix is a female organ located at the end of the vagina. Also, it is a tiny canal located between the vagina and uterus through which the menstrual blood passes.

G-spot

The G-spot is one of the most sensitive spots in female organs. It is technically located inside the vagina and quite challenging to find during stimulation or intercourse. It is a part of the clit tacked behind the pubic bone. Most people find it difficult to stimulate their G-spot during penetrative sex since it is challenging to locate. However, you can stimulate this sensitive organ using hooked fingers, curved dildo, or rabbit vibrators. Puppo  & Gruenwald (2012)  stated that some women squirt because of the G-spot when achieving G-spot orgasms. Discover your G-spot and explore a pleasurable and satisfying orgasmic experience.

Uterus

The uterus is an organ in the vagina where the fetus lives when you are pregnant. It is a part that can also be felt outside the body. However, it is deeper than the lower part of the abdomen.

Clitoral Size and Location

The clitoris looks amazing. However, the clitoris has different in terms of shape and size. According to Abdulcadir et al. (2016), some women have longer clits, while others are shorter, and others smaller. Women with the bigger clitoris can pierce, but this does not make women with smaller clits inferior.

Vestibule

The vestibule is an organ lying below your urethra. It is also known as the introitus or vaginal opening.

Shape and Size of the Labia

The vulva has numerous shapes and sizes. You might have a sleek, thick, narrow, or plush vulva. Some women have longer labia, while others are shorter. However, the longer labia have more movement compared to the shorter ones.

Conclusion

Vaginal anatomy has organs stimulating pleasures during sexual intercourse. Explore your body to experience mind-blowing orgasms.
