Make Your Bedroom a Bondage Boudoir

Make Your Bedroom a Bondage Boudoir

Make Your Bedroom a Bondage Boudoir

By Ksenia Sobchak

I would absolutely love my bedroom to be a bondage boudoir, with sexual toys to hand, hooks and scarves and lube on display making me think of scintillating sexual encounters every time I entered. However with three children, regular house sitters (that include in laws) and landlord inspections this just isn’t possible as the questions and judgement would fly at full force.

It’s the children more than anything, I remember after shopping was delivered finding my seven year old daughter sat in front of the TV enjoying a feast of strawberry lubricant. She quite honestly thought that this was a new type of sweetie bought for her much like the sickly candy in tubes available from all newsagents.

Luckily this was a new and previously unopened packet however, the explaining took a while. I dread to think what would have happened if she took a look in our en-suite bathroom cupboard finding chocolate body paint, pina colada massage oil and heaven forbid flavoured condoms.

However the children were away this weekend and it allowed us to have our bedroom as we liked it. I must say I adored seeing the exploits of our night before with vibrators, a We Vibe, scarves, and lube taking up the shelf space instead of Lego and drawings.

My role play outfits were draped over my magnolia screen, whilst the lighting was ideal. The scent of jasmine body oil filled the air, along with the musky smell of flavoured lubricants. Handcuffs hung off the bed posts and a little whip rested lazily on the cushions, whilst a video recorder was set up in a corner ready to take shots of the action.

The Colour Scheme

I’m going to start with the colours, making it warm and sensual I believe red should feature instead of the baby blue that dominates. This of course will arouse no suspicion but will set our pulses racing with the blood like colour.

The Fabrics and Furniture

We wanted a new bed for a while, and as a lover of antiques I believe we deserve one that has the easy ability to be strapped too. Modern leather sleigh beds leave no room for handcuffs or scarves, so a Victorian brass bed would do nicely. I can then drape silk scarves through the poles, hanging them innocently enough as if adding extra decoration. Only my husband and I will be aware of how these scarves bring the bondage into our bedroom. I can even drape a blindfold over as many people do actually use these to sleep in!

A chaise lounge would make an ideal addition as an extra place to play. It’s perfect for relaxing on as bondage equipment is used such as bars, shackles or leads.

Storage

Continuing on the antique theme I’m going to invest in some apothecary jars from old chemists and decant our massage oils and lubricants into the clear glass. These should look stunning as all colours of the rainbow gleam from our shelves without giving away the contents inside.

A tall lockable cupboard will house our sex toys and added restraints, so when alone we can open the doors to reveal all on display.

Hooks

To finish I’m going to add some sturdy hooks to the walls, hanging tapestries or fabric paintings when not in use, these will easily convert into hooks to tie people too when alone. AS a final touch I’m adding a super strong hook to the ceiling adding a glass ball ornament that will be replaced with a swing with ease!

Soft lighting, outfits and tasteful décor will all add to the ambience making it innocent only on the outside.
