Is Your Sex Life the Best it Can Be?

By Tatyana Dyachenko

Staggering statistics show that a whopping 70% of us would like more sex however these studies say nothing about the quality of sex we receive. Out of these just how many would be satisfied with better sex the same amount of times, the sex that leaves us completely fulfilled and content?

Although we complain that we never get enough, either due to the pressures of life and work or the household chores and children, many of us are scared to admit that what we do get just isn’t good enough.

The Quickie

Of course with so much going on in our lives the quickie is a great stop gap for refuelling that desire, however when every session turns into an affair that lasts less than twenty minutes, you must be asking yourself, is this it? It has been proven that the average woman takes a good ten minutes to actually reach climax so where’s the fun for you?

The Solution

Just blurting out that you don’t find it enough can not only damage a fragile ego but can make sex disappear altogether. Instead try to drop subtle hints as to how you’d like to spend longer, or take the lead and show them that you want a little more. You could introduce a little bondage where they’re not allow to touch you and their pleasure is yours, bringing them almost to the point of climaxing but not letting them orgasm until you’re ready. This way you’ll not only show them a good time you’ll also remind them why sometimes it’s great to take longer over your lovemaking.

The Anti-Climax

For some women achieving orgasm with a partner can be difficult at first and the longer it goes on, the less the man tries as he sees every missed orgasm as a failure on his part. This results in sex that although enjoyable needs toys or solitude to finish the job off, leaving women wondering why they ever invited a partner in the first place. This also results in a catch 22 situation where the woman will feel conscious about her inability to orgasm with a partner. These tense feelings will make climax almost impossible causing resentment between the lovers.

The Solution

There’s nothing for it but to wipe the slate clean and to start all over again. Explain to your lover how you’d love them to make you cum but you feel nervous or worry that you may take too long. Let them experiment with their fingers and tongue and when they do find the right spot, let them know about it. Remember too that the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body so unlike us, no matter how long it takes he won’t get jaw ache! If he’s not too keen on this idea or feels he’d never be able to make you climax instead hand the vibrator over to him. Let him have the control of making you orgasm and once you both achieve it he’ll want to do it again and again.
