NO (HOT) DOGS ALLOWED; 5 FOODS TO AVOID BEFORE SEX

Most of the food that you consume is likely to have an impact on your sexual life. It can either be positive or negative. In most cases, food might be healthy for our bodies, but in sexual life, they cause a hindrance. Some foods that should be avoided when engaging in sexual activities include; hotdogs, french fries, and energy drinks.

Most foods have been believed to boost one's libido. In some way, they do, but at times we tend to lose focus on the intake of foods that we choose, the ones that are not great for our health. Our sweet mouth sometimes makes us make choices that do not favor us in the end. Most of the foods that we consume end up being the ones that lower our libido. It is therefore important to check on what you are taking in before it affects you. It may be that the food is great for your health but also poses a risk to your sexual life. The food may not affect your health but may harm your sex life. Some of the five foods that you need to avoid before engaging in sexual activities include;

Hotdogs

According to Arya & Mishra (2013), hot dogs have a high concentration of fats. However, foods that are known to have a high concentration of fats have the ability to block the vaginal arteries and the penile arteries as well. This will make it difficult for the blood to flow properly. The best thing in such a situation will be to avoid hot dogs because they are rich in fats and switch to foods such as fish. This is because fish is rich in nutrients such as omega3 fatty acids, as described by Pal et al. (2018). This will assist in improving cardiovascular flow.

French Fries

French fries are just like hot dogs. They have fats that are in high concentration. This may harm the sexual life of an individual. Most foods that are rich in fats may decrease the circulation of blood, and it can as well lower the levels of testosterone. In addition, some of the excess salt you add to the french fries may have an impact on the sexual life of a man. Those suffering from blood pressure are likely to have difficulty maintaining a strong erection when engaging in sexual activities.

Tofu

Vegetarians sometimes have it rough with the type of diet they are into. It may have advantages for your health but may still negatively affect your sexual life. When planning to engage in sexual activities, putting Tofu away for a while is better. This will assist in balancing the estrogen levels. According to Bolla (2015), most soy products are known to increase estrogen levels in the body. However, the increase in estrogen levels could hurt the sexual life of both genders. As much as you want to live a vegetarian life, at times, you may need to shelve some vegetarian foods, especially when planning to engage in sexual activities.

Energy Drinks

There are a lot of myths surrounding energy drinks. Many are of the idea that they are great for one's sexual life. Most people believe that energy drinks make one have higher sexual stamina. However, in a real sense, it does affect one's sexual life negatively. This is because energy drinks are very high in sugar and caffeine, as Bagwath Persad (2011) stated. This makes the sexual stamina of one wear off easily. It can, at times, leave your stamina to be lower than how it normally was. At times, the sugar present in energy drinks can make the testosterone level to be lower.

Wine

wine is mostly used or consumed by people with the hopes that it will help them in romantic escapades. It is always linked to romance. Sometimes people drink it to get their blood to flow when planning to engage in sexual activities. However, it does not have a positive impact on your sexual life. It weakens the organs and minimizes one's sensitivity to touch. Moreover, studies show that sober men can maintain their erections faster than those high on alcohol.

Advantages of Avoiding Some Foods Before Sex

Improve Stamina

Having the energy to have sexual activities with your partner is always an advantage to an individual. You are always going to end up satisfying your partner or yourself. Some foods can be a hindrance in making one engage in sexual activities as it lowers the stamina of a person, making them not have the energy to make out with their partner. A high intake of sugary foods can also hinder one's sexual stamina. Those rich in fat will affect a person's health and may lead to cardiac health issues. Cardiac health is vital in assisting stamina.

Boosting the Libido

It is natural for partners to have issues with their libido. However, if one can be able to avoid it, then it is better if they check on the type of food they eat. Nobody fancies having a lower libido than their partner. Most of the time, sexual desire has a lot to do with the type of food one eats. The great thing is that if one changes their diet to foods like aphrodisiacs, it will be better as it may boost their libido. Some of the foods will also assist in helping one maintain an erection for a long period.

Conclusion

Most people look up to a healthy diet to improve their sexual life. Sometimes, the diet may negatively impact their sexual life if they don't check on what they consume. If you want to have a lot of fun engaging in sexual activities, it is better to check the type of food you introduce into your body. Some of the food may be great for your health but, at times, may pose a risk to your sexual life. Therefore, ensure you eat a healthy and balanced diet to improve your sex life.
