June is pride month for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ). It's celebrated nationally in England. Pride is celebrated with big marches and parades, but social distancing restrictions exist. Pride is a celebration of people coming together in love to show how far LGBTQ rights have come. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the identities, experiences, and history of the LGBTQ community. Pride month also calls for people to remember how harmful homophobia was. Some institutions offer community building, education, and advocacy initiatives in England that help students, faculty, and staff exist as their authentic selves. Individuals can visit those institutions all year to access direct or referral services.

History Of Pride In England

Several organizations have organized pride in London since the first official UK Gay pride Rally was held in London in July 1972. In 1981, the pride march was not held in London; it happened in Huddersfield in unity with the Yorkshire gay community. Pride London was formed in 2004, and from then, a political rally in Trafalgar Square has been held after the parade. A group of people from the LGBTQ community formed the London LGBTQ community pride, a registered community interest company. It organized the Pride in London festival and parade in 2013. The organization has been awarded a contract to organize pride in London for five years by the Greater London Authority.

Inclusive Sex Toys To Celebrate Pride Month In England

Sex toy brands have woken up and realized their consumers are queer as they come. Some toys are made without considering stereotypical heteronormative sexual roles and with queer sex as a priority and not as an afterthought. These toys include everything from vagina sex enhancers, double dildos, clitoral stimulators, and strap-on dildos for masculine bodies to butt plugs and other vibrating products. The most innovative toys are the sex toys made specifically for trans bodies: Female to female, male to female.

Whether you are a rainbow shirt pride parade lover, drag shows, or underground parties, there's something for everyone during pride month in England. Ensure to celebrate hard but safe and enjoy the pride month because you deserve it. Below are some sex toys used by England to celebrate pride.

Finger Extender

The finger extender sex toy lets fingers go deeper and stronger to hit the g-spot for sensations (Sayin, 2012). There are other exciting toys to choose from; suppose the finger extender doesn't excite you.

Wand Massager

The wand massager is a battery-operated toy that is an upgrade from the traditional magic wand (Comella, 2017). The wand massager is great for people who enjoy extra power stimulation. This wand is also particularly great for pre-op and no-op trans women whose Human Replacement Therapy leads them to need extra stimulation. The versatility of the wand massager is what makes it so unique. Many toys are specific to a certain body type, but the wand massager can be used anywhere. The many options for trans women going through transition give you enough room to explore their body changes. You can enjoy the wand massager's distinctive vibration speeds and vibration patterns if you aren't experiencing transition.

Finger Vibe

The finger vibrator is perfectly designed for clitoris stimulation and playing around the anus. It is great for warm-up before penetration. The finger vibrator is also lovely for solo playtime for those who do not enjoy penetration or want a quick orgasm (Fields, 1986).

G-Spot Vibrator

The g-spot vibrator is controlled by an app and is perfect for exhibitionists. You can wear it, attend a local pride parade, have a discreet thrilling time, or give app control to your partner for surprise pleasure.

Strap-on Dildo

A strap-on dildo is incredible. It is made for two-vagina owners. The strap-on dildo ejaculates into the one on the receiving end whenever the one wearing it decides it's time. It's a great toy for those looking to be parents.

Double Dildo

The double dildo is specifically made for two people with vaginas. A double dildo can be used with or without a harness for hand-free double penetration pleasure. A double dildo comes with a bullet vibrator for both partners to enjoy vibration and penetration simultaneously.

Massage Candle

Not all sex has to touch your genitals. Light up the massage candle to set the mood and finish with a sensual back massage and the sweet sensation of hot wax on the body, despite what's between your legs. Don't drip any wax into your body, vagina, anus, or mouth.

Rainbow Dildo

It would not be a pride roundup without the rainbow dildo. Whether you are inserting it in your vagina or anus, the rainbow dildo is an incredible addition to the queer sex toy collection.

FTM Stroker

The FTM stroker is specifically made for FTM bodies and sized for people who have begun to transition medically. There are other sex toys made for those who aren't medically transitioning.

Clitoral Stimulator

The clitoral stimulator is your go-to sex toy if you want a penis-free adventure. It sucks on the clitoris in an unmatchable way. It's great for solo play sessions and partner play. According to Minge & Zimmerman (2009), The clitoral stimulator is also incredible for bodies that don't love penetration.

The Bottom Line

LGBTQ pride is the positive move against discrimination toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people to promote their dignity equality rights and, increase their visibility as a social group and celebrate sexual diversity. Pride Month is the month you should make an extra effort to support the LGBTQ community and also a time to explore new LGBTQ things in bed, specifically queer-friendly sex toys. Pride is about being proud of who you are regardless of who you love.
